Description |
The joint resilience program is funded by (BMZ) through the German Development Bank (KFW Project). FAO joined UNICEF and WFP to implement a long-term multi-year project under Phase III of the grant. The project aims to enhance the resilience of vulnerable communities in Somalia. FAO's involvement is to provide households with sustainable food security and livelihood solutions, enabling communities to produce, access, and afford nutritious food while generating surplus to sell and link to higher-value markets for household income and savings creation. Phase III was set to run from 2021 to 2023, but will be extended to December 2024. |
